APIC to Sell Lambda TracePro, OSLO in Taiwan, China

MA, Apr 2, 2008 - Lambda Research Corporation, a market leading developer
and supplier of optical design software, today announces a new distribution
partner for its TracePro products. Effective April 1, 2008, APIC, Alpha
Precision Instrumentation Corp., is a distributor of TracePro and OSLO
products in Taiwan and China. Effective immediately, APIC will offer
TracePro and OSLO products in this region as well as provide technical
support to existing TracePro and OSLO customers and conduct TracePro and
OSLO training classes.
APIC has extensive experience in sales and support of CAD/CAM/CAE/ PDM/PLM
software, environmental testing equipment, IC packages and testing
equipment. Established in 1997, APIC is an engineering and technology
service provider to manufacturers in Taiwan and China in various industries.

TracePro is a comprehensive and versatile software tool for modeling and
analyzing the propagation of light in imaging and non-imaging opto-mechanical
systems. It enables product innovation and discovery in fundamental research
in the Life Sciences, Industrial Manufacturing, Lighting, Display,
Aerospace, and Information Technology markets.
Optical design software OSLO (Optics Software for Layout and Optimization
of optical systems) is used to determine the optimum sizes and shapes of the
elements in optical systems in cameras, consumer products, communications
systems, military/space applications, scientific instruments, etc. In
addition, it is used to simulate the performance of optical systems, and to
develop specialized software tools for optical design, testing, and
manufacturing.
