SEOUL, South Korea, July 30, 2007 - INUS Technology, Inc., the developer of Rapidform 3D scanning software, today announced that it has joined PTC's Partner Advantage Program at the Silver Tier. Inclusion in the partner program, which provides access to a comprehensive suite of capabilities, followed an extensive review of Rapidform XOR/Redesign's data integration with PTC Pro/ENGINEER.

Acceptance in the Partner Advantage Program arose from Rapidform XOR's ability to process 3D scanner information and output parametric solid model data in Pro/ENGINEER native file format. Built upon Pro/ENGINEER APIs, Rapidform’s liveTransfer system transmits a complete history tree from which the CAD/CAM/CAE program creates a parametric solid model.

According to Simon Bae, CEO of INUS Technology, "Rapidform XOR provides the tools for generating parametric 3D CAD data from raw point clouds and gives users a more efficient method of building Pro/ENGINEER solid models. With liveTransfer, Pro/ENGINEER users can begin their CAD, CAM or CAE work moments after the modeling history data transfer from XOR is complete." Bae continued, "We are pleased that PTC views this as a tool that is important to its customers, and we are delighted to have been included in the Partner Advantage Program."

Andy Barlow, senior director, business development, PTC, stated, "With the addition of INUS Technology to the PTC Partner Advantage Program, Pro/ENGINEER users have a powerful solution for conversion of physical objects into parametric solid models." He continued, "The partner program is comprised of software providers selected for their expertise. Through our review process, INUS Technology demonstrated its expertise in 3D scanning software. The company is a welcome addition to the program."

The Pro/ENGINEER liveTransfer add-in, which is included in all Rapidform XOR licenses, is now available.
