INUS Ships Rapidform.dll SDK for 3D Application Developers
SEOUL,
South Korea, May 2, 2007 - INUS Technology Inc., the developer of Rapidform
3D scanning software, has released Rapidform.dll, a software development kit
(SDK) for 3D applications. The company has packaged its powerful point cloud
processing, mesh optimization, NURBS surfacing and color map deviation
capabilities as a turnkey library that can be embedded in third party
applications or used to build new software solutions.
With the introduction of Rapidform.dll, software developers can
incorporate Rapidform's comprehensive feature set within their applications
to process 3D scanning data or add sophisticated 3D functions. The SDK
includes virtually all of rapidform2006’s tools for working with massive
point clouds and triangular meshes, as well as advanced NURBS surfacing
technology, geometry fitting routines and 3D inspection functions.
Simon Bae, CEO of INUS Technology, remarks, "We've invested millions of
dollars over the last decade to develop a powerful code base to address the
needs of 3D scanner users, and we know this technology can be leveraged in a
wide array of applications." He continued, "Rapidform.dll is a flexible,
robust and feature-rich platform for third party software developers. It
gives them the tools to quickly add automatic NURBS surfacing, mesh
optimization and other functionality to their 3D applications."
Featuring hundreds of APIs, Rapidform.dll delivers a broad range of
functionality for a variety of 3D data manipulation needs. Developers are
invited to explore these capabilities and Rapidform.dll licensing options.
