US Navy Contract Extension for Intergraph Worth $45M
HUNTSVILLE,
AL, Mar 19, 2008 - The United States Navy has selected Intergraph for its
Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) III contract, a follow-up to the NAVSEA
II contract that was awarded to Intergraph in 2004. The contract is designed
to provide information technology, including design software,
performance-based support services, ruggedized hardware, engineering
systems/spare parts, maintenance and training services in support of various
NAVSEA projects.
The largest of the U.S. Navy's five systems commands, NAVSEA, is
responsible for engineering, building, purchasing and maintaining the Navy's
ships, submarines, and combat systems. The contract, which is worth up to
$44,889,080, is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract

Initial task orders totaling $1.5 million against the contract are
already in place for marine ruggedized engineering systems and associated
enabling technology, including computer firewall technology for surface
ships, and CPI/Lean and Transformation Program support services.
