The product is available in two versions, standard and the more complete
solution with advanced analysis options, Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis
Professional 2009.
The new software is based on based on innovative technology acquired by
Autodesk from Robobat. RSA enables structural engineers working with Autodesk
Revit Structure to analyze complex structures more seamlessly than ever before.
RSA is a comprehensive global analysis software application that provides a
scalable analysis solution. It is multiregional, incorporating over 15 languages
and addressing over 60 design codes. Structural analysis features include
advanced auto meshing and modeling capabilities, faster dynamic solvers, and
integrated reinforced concrete design and structural steel design modules.
The software produces results in minutes versus hours, even for the most
demanding and complex structures, and that enables engineers to analyze design
alternatives and make adjustments early.
The BIM-embracing solution also incorporates a powerful and flexible user
interface with rich 3D collaboration and bidirectional links between Autodesk
Revit Structure, AutoCAD Structural Detailing 2009 and Revit Extensions. This
simplified communication and collaboration across project phases and extended
teams cuts errors and saves hours. The RSA interoperability enhances
collaboration and speeds workflow with architects and other disciplines.
