Ideate Explorer Updated for Revit v1.1
SAN
JOSE,
CA, Feb 18, 2009 - Ideate Inc., a leading provider of training, support,
custom services, hardware, proprietary software and Autodesk software for
the building, construction, infrastructure, GIS and multimedia industries,
today announces the release of Ideate Explorer for Revit 2009 version
1.1. This simple, powerful Ideate-developed tool gives Revit users the
ability to search, filter and tie up the inter-relationships between more
than 10,000 building elements in a Revit building information model (BIM).
Ideate Explorer 1.1 is compatible with all versions of Autodesk Revit
2009 including 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Revit Architecture 2009,
Revit Structure 2009, and Revit MEP 2009. The software can be
installed right over Ideate Explorer 1.0. There’s no need to uninstall first
and the same installation works for both 32-bit and 64-bit. Version 1.1 not
only features compatibility with Revit 2009 64-bit, the indexing speed of
Revit projects is much faster—up to 10 times faster.
Ideate Explorer empowers users to explore the Revit BIM model and audit
Revit projects to maintain office standards. Users can search, quantify and
view individual building elements by category, family, type, level and room.
Users can also examine and change the current selection, inspect the current
view or project, build complex selections from scratch and zoom to
individual building elements.
Ideate Explorer employs an intuitive interface familiar to anyone who has
searched the web or explored their hard drive. Text searches and
hierarchical views enable users to find building elements hidden deep within
the Revit model. Search results can be copied to Microsoft Excel and
Word to generate reports and create presentation materials.
“Ideate is dedicated to equipping our customers with the necessary tools
to maximize their software investment and to helping our customers in their
adoption of BIM practices,” says Bob Palioca, President of Ideate, Inc.
“This newly revised version of Ideate Explorer fulfills both of those Ideate
commitments. I am delighted to add Ideate Explorer 1.1 to our product
roster.”
The $145.00 purchase price includes a free upgrade to Ideate Explorer for
Revit 2010 version 2.0. Current Ideate Subscription or Premium Support
customers receive Ideate Explorer 1.1 at no additional charge.
