Hexagon's Brown and Sharpe Ships Global Classic CMM
Comes with Analog Scanning option

KINGSTOWN, RI, Sep 25, 2009 - Hexagon Metrology Inc. announced today at the
Quality Expo in Rosemont IL, the immediate availability of analog scanning
packages on entry level Brown & Sharpe Global Classic Coordinate Measuring
Machines (CMMs). Tactile scanning packages are now available with the Leitz
LSP-X1c fixed head scanning probe, as well as LSP-X1s and LSP-X1m probes
coupled with the TESASTAR-m motorized articulating heads.

Sharpe bridge CMMs. “Our new Leitz LSP-X1c probe has given us the capability
to offer an extremely affordable scanning solution on the entry level Global
Classic platform. Analog scanning was previously available only on the
higher performance models in the Global product line. Global Classic is now
an ideal way for our customers to add an affordable level of analog scanning
to their part inspection capability.”
The Global Classic with analog scanning option is immediately available
on North American Global CMM shipments from Hexagon Metrology’s
state-of-the-art Rhode Island factory.
