Alexandre Tartas Joins GRAITEC as COO
PARIS,
France, Sep 2, 2008 - GRAITEC, the international software developer is
pleased to announce the appointment of Alexandre Tartas to the role of Chief
Operating Officer for the group effective September 1st, 2008.
GRAITEC specialize in design and analysis software for the construction
industry, with the GRAITEC products being marketed under the ‘GRAITEC
Advance’ banner.
Alexandre
Tartas comes with a successful background in the CAD industry. He joins
GRAITEC after 7 years at SolidWorks Corp., where he was General Manager for
Western European. Prior to this, Alexandre spent 3 years with Parametric
Technology Corp. based in Spain. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business &
Administration from INSEEC ECE (School of European Trade, France). Alexandre
Tartas will be in charge of the Worldwide Group Operations. He will be
responsible for the turnover and profitability growth of the company, and
will also manage both subsidiaries and resellers.

Some of the main challenges will be to support the fast international
growth of the GRAITEC Group and to improve the international brand awareness
of the product suite, GRAITEC Advance.
GRAITEC Advance Steel is currently available in the UK and is being
distributed by GRAITEC’s subsidiary Adris Computing Concepts. GRAITEC
Advance Steel is a major AutoCAD extension for 3D structural steel modeling,
detailing and fabrication. GRAITEC Advance Concrete will be introduced to
the UK market in Q4 of 2008 and GRAITEC Advance Design will be introduced in
Q1 of 2009.
