GRAITEC, INFARS Partner to Sell In Russia, CIS Countries
BIEVRES,
France, June 3, 2009 - GRAITEC, an international software developer for CAD
and structural analysis BIM solutions for civil engineering, has created
GRAITEC CJSC in partnership with INFARS, its current partner selling the
Graitec Advance Suite on the Russian and former CIS countries markets.
Through this new company GRAITEC Group intends to develop its sales, either
by direct sales or by the development of a resellers’ network in Russia and
surrounding countries (or former CIS countries). In addition, GRAITEC CJSC
will provide its customers with a full range of local services.
GRAITEC signed a shareholders’ agreement with shareholders of its current
partner INFARS for the set up of this new company in which Graitec SA is the
majority shareholder.
INFARS has been a partner for 8 years and is GRAITEC’s reseller for Advance
Steel mainly in Russia. As a close partner, INFARS has already made
developments to localize Advance Steel for the Russian market and has
translated the whole software.
Advance Concrete was launched on the market in 2008 and the software is fully
localized. Advance Design will be launched beginning of 2010.
Graitec CJSC is entrusted with the marketing of Graitec Advance product line
and all technical related services (customer support, training, product
presentations, etc.).
The business model will be a mix between direct and indirect sales through
resellers, where INFARS will remain one of them.
The official launch of Graitec CJSC was effective on June 1st, 2009 with a team
of 5 people (2 employees of INFARS were transferred to Graitec CJSC).
An ambitious Business Plan has been defined that will allow us to triple the
staff on a middle-term perspective (3 years).
Francis GUILLEMARD, CEO and founder of GRAITEC, comments: “GRAITEC has a clear
strategy to develop sales onto the Russian market and provide its clients
with a complete BIM software suite, from structural analysis/design to
steel/concrete detailing. Over the last years, GRAITEC has been already
successfully selling Advance Steel, its high-end steel detailing solution in
Russia through its historical partner INFARS.
With INFARS expertise and knowledge, I am very confident in the future we are
building together in this market and I am convinced that we have initiated a
company that will achieve great success.”
Vladimir MAXIMOV, Managing Director of INFARS and of GRAITEC CJSC adds: “The
creation of GRAITEC CJSC in Russia is a striking illustration of the
importance of the Russian market. This will enable us to better respond to
the requirements of the Russian users of GRAITEC software. It will allow us
to provide timely information and technical support to our clients.”
