Geometric Releases GeomCaliper v2.4 for CATIA V5

MUMBAI, India, Aug 26, 2009 - Geometric Limited (BSE: 532312, NSE: GEOMETRIC), a leader in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions and technologies, today announced the release of latest GeomCaliper&REG version 2.4 for CATIA V5.

The new features incorporated in this release are largely based upon the valuable feedbacks / requirements received from our users / customers.

Continuing with the objective, we have provided new enhanced features, improved performances along with support and integration for CATIA V5R19 in new release version 2.4

Key features in this release include:

Ability to export the relevant CRITICAL THICKNESS REGIONS together in a single *.XML format from GeomCaliper.
Ability to import the CRITICAL THICKNESS REGIONS inside CATIAV5 part files as annotations. The annotations created mark the locations of corresponding critical regions on CATIA V5 model automatically.
Added Windows Vista support (32-bit and 64-bit
