Flow Science Announces 2010 FLOW-3D World Users Conference

FE, NM, Mar 01, 2010 - Flow Science, Inc. announces its 2010 FLOW-3D World Users Conference on
September 23-24, 2010 at the
Hôtel Omni
Mont-Royal in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The conference, which lands on the
30th anniversary of Flow Science, is open to FLOW-3D users and those interested
in learning about the software. The meeting will feature user presentations from
a variety of industrial and research applications. Flow Science staff will be on
hand, both to present the development plans for FLOW-3D and to engage attendees
in detailed conversations and consultations. Advanced training sessions will be
held September 22, 2010, the day before the conference.

This year’s conference also marks Flow Science’s 30th year of offering
solutions in computational fluid dynamics. Dr. C.W. “Tony” Hirt, the
founder of Flow Science, will deliver the keynote address.
Call for Papers!
Abstracts are now being accepted for the conference. Users who are
interested in presenting at the conference should contact Flow Science.
Please include a title, your name and job title and a brief description of
the FLOW-3D results you plan to present. Abstracts should be 500 words or
less.
The due date for abstracts is June 15, 2010 and acceptances will be sent
out July 1, 2010. Final presentations are due September 2, 2010.
Presentation formats can be either a PowerPoint file or in any file format
that can be opened in PowerPoint. Speakers can anticipate a 30 minute
speaking slot, including Q & A.
The registration fee will be waived for conference presenters.
