ENFIELD, UK, Jan 26, 2009 - Excitech, the UK’s leading CAD solution provider has just launched UK Advance Content from Corus for Autodesk Revit Structure 2009 for its subscription customers.

This will save considerable time in structural engineering design while also providing extra information back to the designer. Companies who have bought Autodesk Subscriptions through Excitech will have access to the additional UK Content via the Excitech website. The Revit content provides the UK Advance sections from Corus as well as new functionalities such as local offsets and a direct method of accessing the tonnage of steel.

“This new content provides the range of Corus steel structural beams and columns into one library. The weight calculation facility was added in this content making it easier for Structural Engineers to calculate more accurately. We plan to expand on this content on a quarterly basis.” says Florence Viret, Subscription Manager at Excitech.

Excitech continues to deliver additional benefits to its Autodesk Subscription clients. Among the benefits exclusive to Excitech are the libraries for tips & tricks, e-learning for AutoCAD 2009, UK Content for other CAD software, web seminars and white papers which provide a wealth of information and knowledge for Excitech subscription clients. These benefits ensure that clients keep their competitive edge by giving them the tools they need to stay ahead of the game.
