Engineered Software's CEO Hardee to Present at NCFM Summit
LACEY,
WA, Aug 15, 2008 - Engineered Software, Inc. announced that Chief Engineer
and CEO, Ray Hardee, P.E. has been granted at speaking spot at the
National Collegiate FM Technology
Conference 2008 (NCFM Technology Conference). The NCFM Technology
Conference is annual event hosted this year by the University of Southern
California, in Los Angeles.
Engineered
Software, Inc.'s Chief Engineer, Ray Hardee, P.E., Principal for R&A
Engineering Solutions, Dave Rogers, P.E., and Michael Lewis, P.E., Principal
Engineer for University of California Davis Medical Center will be
presenting together, ‘Fluid Piping Software used to Optimize Campus Hydronic
System Performance' on Wednesday, the 20th of August at 2:45 p.m. in the
Golden State Room of the Wilshire Grand Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
The presentation will review a case study of a hydronic piping system
model made with the PIPE-FLO software and how the system was optimized to
save on maintenance and operational costs.
“I think now is the perfect time for this opportunity because energy
savings are everyone’s top priority,” said Ray Hardee, P.E. “Our core
principles for originally designing our PIPE-FLO software were to help
engineers design more efficient systems. We look forward to giving
facilities managers a chance to see the benefits of the program [PIPE-FLO
Professional] up close through a live demonstration, showing exactly how and
where savings can be made in any piping system,” Hardee added.
Engineered Software, Inc. will also be and exhibitor at the show,
starting August 19th and lasting until the 22nd. The exhibits will be held
at the University of Southern California.
“PIPE-FLO is particularly useful when analyzing existing systems. This
may be an additional solution for the U.S. Government’s initiative ‘Save
Energy Now,’ and for those industries that can benefit from energy
assessments of their piping and pump systems,” Hardee said.
The PIPE-FLO product line is used by designers and operators to gain a
clear picture of their fluid piping systems. The program allows users to
visualize their systems in a familiar format, calculate system operations,
easily communicate the design with others, and access supporting documents
in electronic format.
