Eagle Point Releases LANDCADD for Revit 2011
DUBUQUE,
IA, Apr 20, 2010 - Eagle Point Software Corporation announced the release of the 2011 version of
LANDCADD for Revit. Updates to LANDCADD for Revit take advantage of new
functionality in Autodesk Revit Architecture 2011 software, providing users with
improved modeling capacity that will promote higher adoption of Building
Information Modeling (BIM). "We are glad to have an Autodesk Developer
Network partner like Eagle Point Software announce the release of its
portfolio of companion products for Autodesk Revit Architecture 2011,"
explains Jim Quanci, director of the Autodesk Developer Network. "Eagle
Point's expertise in developing Autodesk add-on applications allows them to
leverage the new functionality in our 2011 Revit releases and enhance it
with tools that help our clients adopt BIM and complete their designs
faster."
LANDCADD for Revit allows Architects and Designers to improve team
collaboration by providing functionality to lay out and model the landscape
components of a project, allowing teams to make decisions earlier, reduce
costly revisions, and speed the design process within the Autodesk Revit
family of products.
“We are excited to announce the release of LANDCADD for Revit 2011 as
part of our continued effort in providing tools to our clients that
facilitate a higher adoption of Building Information Modeling within their
practices," explains Luis Rojas, Architecture Product Line Manager at Eagle
Point. "By taking advantage of new functionality in Revit, we can now
provide our clients with an improved modeling process for their projects."
Autodesk Revit Architecture 2011 software helps architects and designers
work naturally, design freely, and deliver projects efficiently.
Purpose-built for building information modeling (BIM), Autodesk Revit
Architecture helps architects and designers explore design concepts and
forms, and better maintain design data through documentation and
construction. With parametric change technology, any change made is
automatically updated throughout the model, keeping design and documentation
coordinated and more reliable. Key new features include large team workflow,
enhanced visualization and enhanced documentation.
