Eagle Point Releases AutoCAD Civil 3D Add-on for Surveyors

DUBUQUE, IA, Feb 09, 2010 - Eagle Point Software Corporation releases Surveyors’ Companion, an AutoCAD Civil 3D add-on product that allows surveyors to comfortably and productively move to AutoCAD Civil 3D with simplified COGO routines and user interface.

Multiple dialog and command line based routines allow the input of raw alignment, lot and field traverse information directly into drawings, bypassing the use of external survey databases. Robust point placement routines allow surveyors to quickly locate COGO points to be uploaded to the field for staking.
