Design Master Electrical Contractor, Plumbing Released

WA, Oct 14, 2008 - Design Master Software today released two new products,
Design Master Electrical Contractor and Design Master Plumbing, and updates
to two existing products, Design Master Electrical and Design Master HVAC.
Design Master Electrical Contractor is a new version of Design Master
Electrical that includes additional features for the design/build
contractor. It includes all of the integrated drafting and calculation
features of Design Master Electrical, plus quantity takeoffs that extend the
electrical building model into the estimating phase of the project. Design
Master Electrical Contractor is available for an annual subscription of
$1,860.
Design Master Plumbing is an integrated calculation and drafting program
for plumbing designers. It is a building information modeling (BIM) program
that is built specifically for plumbing designers. The focus on
plumbing-specific BIM allows plumbing designers to collaborate with other
disciplines who are using BIM but also benefit when they are the only ones
on the project using BIM. Design Master Plumbing is available for an annual
subscription of $840.
Design Master Electrical was updated to version 7.1. The major new
feature for this release is improved fault current calculations. These
improved calculations are another example of how BIM can benefit an
electrical designer even if the other disciplines are not using BIM. The
release also includes a number of usability improvements and bug fixes in
response to feedback from customers. Design Master Electrical is available

Design Master HVAC was updated to version 6.1. This is a minor release
that allows Design Master HVAC to be compatible with Design Master Plumbing.
It includes a number of usability improvements and bug fixes in response to
