D3 to Sell Autodesk Plant Products
Greg Silva joins as plant solutions specialist
SPRINGFIELD,
MO, July 8, 2008 - D3 TECHNOLOGIES, the leader in delivering Autodesk
manufacturing and plant solutions, is proud to announce that they are now
one of four authorized resellers for
Autodesk Plant Solutions. This authorization includes the lower 48
states as a territory.
Along with this initiative, D3 would like to announce that it has added a
talented new team member, Greg Silva. Greg has joined D3 as a Plant
Solutions Specialist. He will be heading up the D3 Plant Solutions Division
while working closely with the 6 existing members of the D3 team already
trained to sell, support and train for the Autodesk Plant products.
Greg
is highly skilled in the process piping field, with over 24 years experience
in the industry and over 8 years as a CAD Coordinator. Along with writing
his own P&ID package, Greg also has experience with multiple P&ID platforms
including Bentley’s AutoPLANT, COADE’s CADWorx, and P&ID Advantage. He has
become a trusted advisor to many in the plant process industry. Greg is also
familiar with Autodesk products and has worked with AutoCAD since Release 9.
Greg has also been greatly involved in the CAD community, serving as
chairman for the Oklahoma AMUG for 2 years and running the Tulsa AutoCAD
User Group (TAUG) for over 10 years. He was honored at Autodesk University
last November as AUGI Chapter Member of the Year. Greg also previously
served as an instructor for the Tulsa Technology Center teaching their
Fundamentals of Process Piping and Design class.
“We are very excited and honored to have Greg on board with D3. His
expertise in P&ID will be a welcome addition to our newly added Plant
Solutions division at D3. We understand that in order to best serve our
customers, we need to have the best talent on our team, Greg is a great
example of that,” states Kevin Schlack, President of D3.
As D3 moves forward with its Plant Solutions division, customers will
continue to see the service and support that they have become accustomed to.
D3 will continue to expand their offerings of consulting services and
training to customers in the plant and process industry with the Autodesk
Plant Solutions, as well as supporting CADWorx customers until they are able
to make a full transition to the Autodesk platform.
