Sogeti's Manager Sottocasa to Keynote at PLM Road Map
STAMFORD,
CT, July 2, 2008 - Collaborative Product Development Associates (CPDA), a
provider of critical analyses for PLM decisions, announces that Philippe
Sottocasa, Manager, Sogeti High Tech Simulation Centre of Excellence, will
join GM's Terry Kline, Lockheed Martin's Christopher L. Blake, Siemens PLM
Software's Stephen Bashada, HP's Christian Verstraete, and IBM's Peter
Robison as a keynote speaker at its annual
PLM Road Map conference, to be held at The Inn at St. John's, outside of
Detroit, Michigan on September 23 and 24.
The engineering services market is fast changing. Customers are
increasingly looking for companies that are able to take over even bigger
work-packages. At the same time simulation is becoming the key factor to
slash time-to-market and costs. To remain competitive, services providers
need to combine: simulation expertise, autonomy for the hardware and
software, offshore capabilities, and a secure delivery process.
In his keynote presentation, Transformation: Time for a New Wave of
Optimization, Philippe Sottocasa will concentrate on the solutions proposed
by Sogeti High Tech to meet these challenges, including the implementation
of a SimEnterprise solution, mainly based off an in-house SimManager Portal.
Now in its 15th year, PLM Road Map 2008 is a strategic conference focused
on the critical tradeoffs that shape product development. PLM Road Map 2008
will enable attendees to explore first hand the progress, opportunities, and
roadblocks leading-edge end-users are confronting.
