WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, VT, July 17, 2008 – Illias Mustafa has been selected as senior sales manager for the European offices of Concepts NREC. Mustafa is responsible for establishing Concepts NREC in Europe and increasing the company’s European market share for all Concepts NREC Agile Engineering Design System turbomachinery products and services. Mustafa will further develop indirect sales and identify new channel partners throughout Europe from the British Isles to the Italian peninsula and east to Russia.

His strong track record of building operations in Europe in addition to developing and supporting a high technology user base gives us full confidence that he will lead our European effort effectively," said Mike Dergance, director - global software sales for Concepts NREC. “Illias’ appointment is a critical step in the implementation of our expansion strategy to distribute Concepts NREC’s turbomachinery design, engineering and manufacturing software and solutions to customers in Europe.”

Prior to joining Concepts NREC, Mustafa was managing director of sales and business development for Anvil MCS Limited. He also was general manager and vice president for the United Kingdom (UK) and European offices of Manufacturing and Consulting Services Inc (MCS). While with MCS, Mustafa successfully led the MCS UK team through a management buy out from its American parent company to create a free standing operation. He was European program manager for Impell Corporation and CAD/systems manager for British Aerospace’s Military Aircraft Division.

Mustafa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical engineering from the School of Science, Engineering & Environment at the University of Salford, Greater Manchester UK.

He lives with his wife, Aysha, and their three children in Stockbridge Hampshire UK.
