RIJSWIJK,
The Netherlands, Sep 26, 2008 - BlueCielo ECM Solutions, a leading global
software company offering Engineering Content Management (ECM) solutions,
today named Peter de Bode as its new chief financial officer.
De
Bode joins BlueCielo from ION Geophysical, a listed American company
providing seismic solutions to the global oil and gas industry, where he was
director of finance. Prior to that, de Bode carved an illustrious career in
finance by holding several key financial management positions with paper
industry giants Buhrmann Tetterode and Koninklijke Nederlandse
Papierfabrieken, and coal trading company SSM, before starting his own
consulting firm which took him to various locations worldwide. De Bode is
48, has studied business economics in Amsterdam, and has a postgraduate
degree in auditing.
De Bode takes over from Ton van Breukelen who will join print and
communication services provider RR Donnelly as director of finance.
“Peter’s strengths in both finance and business leadership are glad
reinforcements in view of our increasing global presence and acquisitions,”
states Martijn Janmaat, BlueCielo’s CEO. “With his unique set of expertise,
Peter is able to contribute broadly to our finance, operations and business
strategy. We warmly welcome him as a new member of our management team. At
the same time, we thank Ton for his 10 successful years with us and wish him
the very best with his new position.”
“The entrepreneurial atmosphere, energy and passion at BlueCielo are key
reasons why I am delighted to take on this opportunity,” says de Bode.
“BlueCielo is a fast-growing company that places great value on its human
assets and I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead in bringing
BlueCielo to new levels.”
