ODESSA, Ukraine, Mar 4, 2009 - BeLight Software announced an update for Live Interior 3D version 2.1, an interior design software for Mac. The update features Google SketchUp 7 support allowing users to import 3D objects created in SketchUp as well as export the interior of a project or any selected object into SketchUp format.

Alternative shadow rendering improves performance and shadow smoothening. New to the Pro version of the program is the ability to customize materials with reflections, which helps to add realistic surface effects to various objects, parquet floor and other.

Live Interior 3D is available in Standard ($49.95) and Pro ($129.95) editions.

Version changes for Live Interior version 2.1:

Support for import and export of Google SketchUp 7 files added.
The alternative shadow rendering mode provides faster shadow performance and smoothes them.
The auto-save functionality will help to restore documents after accidental computer crash.
The option to create and customize materials with reflections has become available.
Spanish localization added.
Other various improvements and fixes.
