BWIR Opens Engineering Services Office in Detroit

ST. LOUIS, MO, July 7, 2008 - Barry-Wehmiller Companies, Inc. has announced the opening of a Barry-Wehmiller International Resources (BWIR) Engineering Services office in Detroit, Mich.

With more than 5,000 team members in 50 locations worldwide and revenues topping $1 billion, Barry-Wehmiller Companies has leveraged strategic acquisitions and organic growth initiatives to emerge dominant in four areas of expertise: engineering and information technology (IT) consulting; packaging equipment; corrugating equipment; and paper converting equipment.

BWIR is an engineering and IT consulting division of Barry-Wehmiller Companies with headquarters in St. Louis and global delivery operations strategically located to meet customer needs throughout the U.S., Europe, Southeast Asia and South America. The new Engineering Services office is headed by Mark Parlette, Director of Engineering Solutions, who has more than 20 years of experience in the engineering and CAD software industries in the Detroit area.
