AutoForm Wins Swiss Venture Club Award
ZURICH,
Switzerland, Mar 17, 2009 - The Swiss Venture Club (SVC) Award for
Entrepreneurs this year goes to AutoForm Engineering GmbH, the leading
supplier of software solutions for the sheet metal forming industry. The
Jury nominated AutoForm Engineering for the final from among more than a
hundred companies. The software supplier emerged the winner against five
other finalists.

The SVC Award for Entrepreneurs recognizes small and medium-size companies
which have achieved an impressive performance record through consistent
success, ensure or create jobs and for which continuous innovation play a
central role. The quality of staff members and the management as well as a
clear strategy for the future are further criteria which the Jury takes into
consideration during the extensive evaluation process and visit to the
company’s premises. The jury is comprised of twelve entrepreneurs and
experts from the business sector as well as the previous year’s award
winner.

The Swiss Venture Club recognizes exceptional
companies such as Dr. Waldemar Kubli’s AutoForm Engineering GmbH and grants
them wide publicity.

The award ceremony was held at the Hallenstadion in Zurich, the largest
multi-functional arena in Switzerland. Some 1500 top-ranking individuals
from politics, business and culture were invited to this festive occasion to
celebrate the winner of this award presented for the second time. The SVC
Award for Entrepreneurs is added to a list of past awards received by
AutoForm Engineering, such as „Excellence in Productivity 2006“, „Automotive
News PACE Award 2004“ or „Entrepreneur of the Year 2002“. For Dr. Waldemar
Kubli, founder and CEO of AutoForm Engineering, this award is significant
proof that AutoForm Engineering is on the right path. Waldemar Kubli stated:
„I am extremely delighted that AutoForm Engineering has won the SVC Award
for Entrepreneurs. We had to undergo a multilevel selection process carried
out by experts in the field and were up against top-class competitors.“
