ASVIC Releases Mech-Q v3.24.001 for AutoCAD, LT 2009

the release of Mech-Q v3.24.001 which is fully compatible with AutoCAD 2009
and AutoCAD LT 2009.
Additions and Improvements
- Mech-Q now fully compatible with Bricscad V8 (all versions) -
Incompatibility issues with V8.2 (and above) -

- Piping:
- Added Large Bore (>NB 150) PVC-U metric pipe & fittings
- Added ANSI B16.5 Class 400 Flanges
- Updated Victaulic pipe & fittings
- Improved insertion of Weldolets/sockolets/Threadolets
- Added 3D option - Centrifugal Pumps
- General - Network version Upgrade (2)
- Added the new option to call-out (export) a network license seat
to a non-networked computer.. Then to call-in (import) a non-network
license, back to the network
- Improved network license security.
- General - Mech-Q Database (Spec) Editor
- Added "Editor Help" button. This will display the meaning of
each edit field as an image to make editing easier.
Main Mech-Q modules:
- Mech-Q Piping - The Piping module is an easy to use full 2D
piping package. Includes a comprehensive range of pipe, fittings,
flanges and valves: Welded, flanged, threaded, ductile & cast iron,
victaulic, stainless, PVC...with auto-BOM. Other utilities include:
Isometric piping, P&ID, fabricated pipe, hangers, clamps, Vessels,

- Mech-Q HVAC Ducting - HVAC Ducting (2D): Rectangular, round
and flat oval ducting with auto-BOM, auto-label, flat sheet
development... Also included: Duct transitions, tees & wyes, offsets,
branches, dampers, diffusers, flexible duct, grills and other

- Mech-Q Mechanical - The Mechanical module includes a
comprehensive range of mechanical symbols & housings, gears, material
handling equipment, springs, shafts utility and many more! Details
- Mech-Q Structural - Mech-Q Structural Steel Detailing: Steel
shapes (AISC, BHP, CISC, DIN, RSA, JIS, IS...) 2D with weighted auto-BOM.
Beam connections, stairs, ladders, bracing, hand railing, frames, beam
designer... Many with auto-dimensioning to fabrication detail.
