Textron Defense Systems Selects
Aras Innovator PLM
ANDOVER,
MA and SOLOTHURN, Switzerland, Jun 17, 2010 - Aras, the leading enterprise
open source Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software solution provider,
today announced that Textron Defense Systems, an operating unit of Textron
Systems, a Textron Inc. company, has selected the Aras Innovator suite on
the Microsoft platform for enterprise PLM. Aras will support the Capability
Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) with capabilities including program
management, risk management, configuration and change management, and
product data management with CAD/EDA connectors to NX, Allegro, OrCAD, and
PADS along with integration to SAP.
