AMV STEELWORKS 2010 to be Unveiled at SolidWorks World
GORIZIA,
Italy, Jan 5, 2010 - The Italian software Company AMV is presenting its
latest achievement: the steel design tool AMV STEELWORKS, aimed at steel
fabricators and detailers.
What is AMV STEELWORKS?
AMV STEELWORKS is a Building Information Modeling (BIM) tool intended for
metallic carpentry hosted by the SolidWorks platform, conceived to
streamline the workflow from general arrangements, to detailing,
fabrication, drawing, and BOM.
What's new about AMV STEELWORKS?
AMV SW allows the management of different complex interdisciplinary
projects inside one single environment. Furthermore, in view of the synergy
with SolidWorks, the two together create a powerful, comprehensive,
easy-to-use tool benefitting both, beginners and experts. In fact, the
system allows non-expert users to make the right choices by suggesting
consistent options, while expert users can fully express their designing
skills thanks to a flexible and easily manageable instrument.
AMV SW allows all project participants to access project information in
real-time, thus increasing productivity. AMV SW is based on components based
design which enables the user to model any kind of complex and customized
structural system. Unlike its competitors, AMV SW uses one single user
interface to model each type of Joint, whereas user-defined joints can be
managed with same tool too.
Finally, the automatic production of drawing details creates each
part-assembly drawing with 1 click.
These are just some of the innovative features of AMV SW 2010 version
which is going to be presented at SolidWorks World (Booth 207) in Anaheim
CA, Jan 31st Feb 3rd where the Company’s professionals will be available to
provide technical and commercial information on the product.
