Theorem Releases 'Inventor to Creo View Adapter'

STAFFORDSHIRE, UK, Feb 2, 2012 - Theorem Solutions, world leading supplier of PLM interoperability solutions is pleased to announce the availability of their latest visualization products helping resolve the issue of sharing data between the Autodesk Inventor and PTC Creo View formats.

Theorem's Autodesk Inventor Adapter for Creo View (formerly ProductView) is a completely unique solution designed to aid supply chain collaboration.

The adapter rapidly and accurately publishes 3D mechanical design geometry parts, assemblies and 2D drawings, together with attribute information to the compact format used by the Creo View application.

Now available on both Windows 32BIT & 64BIT platforms, users can digitally mock-up and interrogate native Inventor data within the Creo View environment.

The latest 64Bit Adapter allows data to be as large and complex as required, maintaining full application functionality.

The adapter can be integrated into WindChill, DIVISION Graphics Server or other PDM environments.

To improve the performance of an overall conversion process, the user may select a subset of the input Inventor data to be processed, allowing the conversion process to operate on only those items that are of specific interest to the user.

Partnering both Autodesk and PTC enables Theorem's products and solutions to consistently keep pace with vendor software releases and development cycles, making sure their advanced data translation tools always deliver the latest functionality to support the demanding needs of the user.

About Theorem Solutions

Theorem Solutions is a long established World leading supplier of services and products that solve a range of engineering data problems for the design and manufacturing communities. Formed in 1991, to address CAD data translation issues, Theorem has gone on to master this challenge and deliver cost saving solutions and consultancy to engineering and manufacturing OEMs and their suppliers throughout the world.

Theorem’s CADverter family of translators provide interoperability capabilities between all of the major CAD systems, providing a comprehensive exchange of data including geometry, attributes and product manufacturing information.

Partner to all major CAD vendors and with the use of vendor supported development environments Theorem’s CADverter products ensure that the data being processed conforms to the specific requirements of the various applications. In addition, as the vendors improve their respective propriety file formats, their supported development environments remove all risks associated with database changes and guarantee to keep pace with the changes they make.

Design, Engineering and Manufacturing companies use Theorem’s consultancy and products to automate and take cost out of collaborating with business partners and they range in complexity from one to one partnerships to solutions for supply chains with hundreds of companies.

As well as enabling interoperability between trading partners Theorem also provides process automation solutions that are used “in house” for tasks such as CAD data migration and long term archiving. These save time and money by streamlining and eliminating the labor intensive tasks involved in translating and managing engineering and manufacturing data, help protect IP and also enable the capture and retention of skills which might otherwise be lost through employee mobility or retirement.
