Tata Technologies Names John Howaniec PLM Vice President

MI, Sep 8, 2010 - Tata Technologies, a global leader in Engineering Services
Outsourcing (ESO), Enterprise Solutions services, and Product Lifecycle
Management (PLM) today announced the appointment of John Howaniec as
President - PLM Solutions. In this position, Howaniec has responsibility for
leading North American, European and Asia-Pacific PLM Solutions operations
and reports directly to Warren Harris, Tata Technologies President and COO.
“John has an outstanding track record in building and directing operations of
this scale. That experience is a valuable asset to Tata Technologies clients; as
John and his team support them in their pursuit of their business goals and help
them find solutions to the challenges of today’s competitive market,” Harris
said, in making the announcement.

Howaniec brings to his role more than 20 years of executive leadership and
sales management experience in this industry sector. Most recently, he served as
Senior Vice President - Americas Sales Operations at MSC Software. Before
joining MSC, he was President and CEO of Cohesia, an early stage enterprise
software company. Prior to Cohesia, Howaniec was regional president at EDS,
where he was responsible for the sales, services, and marketing of the UGS PLM
line of enterprise software products in the Americas. Prior to EDS, he held
executive positions at Structural Dynamics Research Corporation (SDRC),
including Vice President, Eastern Region Operations; Vice President of
Operations, Metaphase Technology Division; and Regional manager of PDM sales.
Howaniec holds a BSME (Mechanical Engineering) from Bradley University, and
an MBA (Finance) from Xavier University. His home office is at the Tata
Technologies North American headquarters in Novi, Mich.
