IRVINE, CA, July 15, 2008 – Roland DGA Corp., a leading provider of wide-format inkjet printers and integrated printer/cutters, today announced the addition of two new fine art canvas products to its award-winning media lineup: Solvent Satin Canvas and Solvent Gloss Canvas.

Specially coated for performance with the company’s best-selling ECO-SOL MAX eco-solvent ink, this new media offering allows Roland VersaCAMM and SOLJET inkjet printers and printer/cutters to produce wide-format photographic and fine art reproductions, art décor and murals with outstanding color gamut and image quality.

“Roland Solvent Canvas media optimizes the performance of ECO-SOL MAX ink for the rich, dense colors and fine details that fine art reproductions require,” said Rick Scrimger, vice president and general manager for Roland. “With this innovative new media line, SOLJET and VersaCAMM shops can easily extend their reach into the fast-growing fine art market – without any additional investment in technology or equipment. Roland Solvent Canvas media is tested, profiled and certified for performance with Roland VersaCAMM and SOLJET eco-solvent inkjets. Supporting the heaviest ink loads, Roland Solvent Canvas offers an excellent white point for superior color brilliance and image definition, print after print. Roland Solvent Canvas can be stretched without cracking for easy professional finishing. No lamination, over coating or other treatment is required for lasting durability.

Solvent Canvas Media Features (Satin and Gloss):

Canvas is specially formulated for ECO-SOL MAX ink

Bright white polyester/cotton blend composed of 65% polyester and 35% cotton
