Roland Adds Miller, Day, Garcia to Sales Team
IRVINE,
California, March 8, 2007 - Roland DGA Corporation recently expanded
its sales force with the addition of three new members focused on
serving the company’s growing customer base.
“Demand for our wide-format inkjet printers and printer/cutters
remains at the highest levels,” said Rick Scrimger, vice president
and general manager of Roland’s Color Products Division. “To support
this growth, we are pleased to add Tony Miller, Jim Day and Joe
Garcia to our sales management team. Their contributions will enable
us to continue to provide customers with the same outstanding
service they have come to expect from Roland.”
Tony
Miller has been named national accounts manager, responsible for
serving the company’s largest nationwide dealers and customers.
Miller brings to this position 15 years of experience in product
management, technical support and sales for the digital printing and
photography industries including three years with Roland. Miller
holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Arts from Wheaton College
of Norton, MA.
Jim
Day has been named regional sales manager for the Western region.
Day joined Roland in 1996 and has served in the company’s technical
support, supplies & accessories, and product management departments.
Prior to joining Roland, Day was sales manager for a Southern
California digital equipment and signage reseller. He has a
Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from the University of
Southern California.
Joe
Garcia has been promoted to the newly created position of supplies &
accessories customer service specialist. Garcia started at Roland in
2004 and has served the company in customer service roles focused on
Latin and South America. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
and Operations Management from California State University,
Fullerton.
