Roland Offers 2-Year Warranty for SOLJET PRO III XC-540
IRVINE,
California, January 16, 2007 - Setting a new industry standard for
service and support, Roland DGA Corporation has announced a 2-year
warranty for the company’s top-of-the-line inkjet printer/cutter,
the 54”-wide SOLJET PRO III XC-540.
Ideal for banners, signs, vehicle graphics, retail displays and
other wide-format durable graphics, the SOLJET PRO III XC-540 is
widely used by top professionals in the most demanding production
environments. The new warranty covers all SOLJET XC-540
printer/cutters registered with Roland’s customer service department
and requires exclusive use of Roland ECO-SOL MAX inks.
“The XC-540 is our fastest and most advanced inkjet

Award-Winning SOLJET Technology
Combining precision 6-color (CMYK+LcLm) printing and contour
cutting in one device, the XC-540 delivers a seamless workflow for
the production of complex sign graphics – printing and then
automatically contour cutting on one device without any steps in
between. As a result, the XC-540 can be operated unattended for
professional results every time.
Performance features include a maximum print speed of 441 sqft./hr.
and photorealistic image quality of up to 1440x1440 dpi resolution.
Roland ECO-SOL MAX ink delivers vibrant color and rugged scratch
resistance for graphics that last up to 3 years outdoors. Powerful
VersaWorks RIP software is included and packed with advanced
features including spot color replacement, clipping and
auto-nesting.
To further support high-volume production, the XC-540 features a
precision firing pattern that promotes superior ink density and
image quality at high speeds. An integrated tri-heater system
accelerates drying times, and an optional dryer/blower system is
available as well. Additionally, a built-in media feed and take-up
system supports rolls weighing up to 66 lbs.
The XC-540 is priced at $29,995, with the optional DU-540
dryer/blower system priced at $2,995.
