ASCENT Issues AutoCAD LT, Architecture 2010 Training Guides
WALTHAM,
MA, Oct 22, 2009 – RAND Worldwide, a global leader in providing technology solutions to
organizations with engineering design and information technology requirements,
announced today that its courseware division, ASCENT– Center for Technical
Knowledge released AutoCAD Architecture 2010 Advanced and AutoCAD LT 2010
Essentials training guides. The updated AutoCAD Architecture 2010 Advanced
guide offers advanced feature training for users who have completed ASCENT’s
AutoCAD Architecture 2010 Fundamentals course. AutoCAD Architecture 2010
Advanced focuses on conceptual design in the sense of massing studies and
space planning, as well as several more advanced features for greater
control over the program. The AutoCAD Architecture 2010 Advanced training
guide is intended primarily for architects and other advanced students who
need the ability to design massing studies or space studies, or to customize
settings in the AutoCAD Architecture environment. With this updated 2010
release, along with changes made to reflect the new interface, content such
as Wall Cleanups and Publishing to PDF from Sheet Sets has been added.
ASCENT’s AutoCAD LT 2010 Essentials training guide covers the
indispensable core topics for working with AutoCAD LT. Reduced to a 3-day
course (from 5-days), the intent is to cover only the most essential tools
and concepts. The teaching strategy is to start with a few basic tools that
let the student create and edit a simple drawing and as the student develops
the basic tools, more advanced tools are introduced.
“At ASCENT we continue to update and enhance our courseware so we can
offer our clients the best in training solutions,” said Joe Oswald,
executive vice-president, PLM Operations, North America and Europe, RAND
Worldwide. “By reducing the length of the AutoCAD LT 2010 Essentials
courseware, we ensure students receive the essential skills required to work
with AutoCAD LT, while minimizing the overall time and cost for training.”
