ASCENT Updates Revit Structure, Vault 2010 Training Guides
MISSISSAUGA,
ON, Sep 23, 2009 – RAND Worldwide, a global leader in providing technology
solutions to organizations with engineering design and information
technology requirements, announced today that its courseware division,
ASCENT– Center for Technical Knowledge, released the updated Revit Structure
2010 Fundamentals and Vault 2010: Data Management for Inventor Users
training guides.
ASCENT's Revit Structure 2010 Fundamentals training guide is designed to
teach users concepts and principles from building design through
construction documentation using Autodesk Revit Structure 2010. Our training
guide is intended to introduce students to the software’s user interface and
the basic building components that make Revit a powerful and flexible
structural modeling tool. The changes made to the Revit Structure workspace
and interface have been integrated throughout the training guide. The
introduction of a new feature for creating slanted columns has also been
added to the training guide.
The Vault 2010: Data Management for Inventor Users training guide is an
introductory course intended for Autodesk Inventor users who need to access
their design files from Autodesk Vault. Written from a user’s perspective,
this training guide focuses on Autodesk Vault’s features for managing files
and projects with Autodesk Inventor 2010. The updated 2010 version of the
training guide incorporates enhancements made to the Autodesk Inventor
interface.
“Our courseware developers are dedicated to incorporating the
enhancements introduced to the Autodesk 2010 software,” said Joe Oswald,
Executive Vice-President PLM Operations, RAND Worldwide. “Our goal is to
enable our clients to utilize these features to drive efficiencies,
streamline workflow, and ultimately benefit from their software choice.”
ASCENT is an Authorized Author, Publisher, and Developer of Autodesk
