ASCENT Offers Inventor, Revit 2010 Training Guides
MISSISSAUGA, ON,
May 12, 2009 – RAND Worldwide, a global leader in providing technology
solutions to organizations with engineering design and information
technology requirements, announced today that its courseware division,
ASCENT – Center for Technical Knowledge, released a new Autodesk Inventor
2010: Update for Inventor 2009 Users training guide and an updated Revit
Architecture 2010 Fundamentals training guide.
ASCENT’s new courseware release, Autodesk Inventor 2010 Update for
Inventor 2009 Users is the ideal training guide for users that are upgrading
from Inventor 2009. It introduces the new concepts and techniques of solid
modeling that have been introduced with Inventor 2010 and focuses on the
enhancements made to the User Interface, Part Modeling, Sketching, Assembly
Modeling, Drawing, and Sheet Metal Modeling environments.
The updated Revit Architecture 2010 Fundamentals training guide
concentrates on the basic tools that the majority of users will need to work
with Revit Architecture 2010. The objective of the training guide is to
enable students to create full 3D architectural project models and set them
up in working drawings using the new interface and ribbon features of Revit
Architecture 2010.
“ASCENT’s recent releases incorporate the enhancements made to the
Autodesk Inventor 2010 and Revit Architecture 2010 software – including the
adoption of the context-sensitive ribbon interface that promises to increase
efficiency and usability,” said Joe Oswald, Executive Vice-President, PLM
Operations, North American and Europe, RAND Worldwide. “ASCENT’s hands-on,
practice-intensive approach to curriculum ensures our clients quickly
benefit by learning, practicing, and working with the new interface as they
work to realize the efficiencies of the new software.”
ASCENT is an Authorized Author, Publisher, and Developer of Autodesk
curriculum. All of the company’s Autodesk courses are available to
