Microdesk Opens San Francisco Office

IRVINE, CA, Jul 9, 2009 – AECO industry consultant Microdesk celebrates the opening of its state-of-the-art support and training center at One Front Street in the heart of downtown San Francisco. This expanded office, opening on July 10th, will serve as the hub of its northern California business.

“The decision to expand our San Francisco presence was a logical one, based on the region’s growing need for professional consulting, support and educational services around Autodesk’s Building Information Modeling products,” said Microdesk Principal Michael DeLacey. “This new hub will also allow us to better address our clients’ increasing interest in taking BIM to the next level and assist them with incorporating products like SketchUp, Google Earth and Ecotect to conduct 4D, 5D and 6D analysis.”

With the expansion of the San Francisco location, Microdesk is now positioned to complete its northern California footprint with additional offices planned in San Jose and Sacramento.

“We have a strong commitment to the California marketplace,” said DeLacey. “This state-of–the- art training center in San Francisco, along with our centers in Los Angeles, Fresno and Orange County, will allow us to serve the California AECO industry more effectively and efficiently than ever before.”

The new office will be fully staffed and will provide authorized training and support on the full line of Autodesk BIM, Civil and geospatial products as well as ESRI’s desktop GIS products and products from Adobe, Google and Oracle.

Microdesk provides business process consulting and BIM, CAD, GIS and FM software consulting to the architectural, engineering, construction, GIS, and facility operations industries.
