Mechdyne Hires Brian Bond as Technical Services Manager
MARSHALLTOWN,
IA, Mar 16, 2010 - Mechdyne Corporation today announced that Mr. Brian Bond
has joined the company in the newly created position of Technical Services
Product Manager. In this role, Bond is responsible for definition and
delivery of flexible long-term service and preventative maintenance program
offerings for large-scale 3D visualization and advanced AudioVisual (AV)
systems.
The Mechdyne Technical Service group leverages more than 15 years
experience in advanced AV systems integration to provide support for users
of Mechdyne integrated systems and customers working with visualization
systems installed by other organizations.
“We have found that ‘one size fits all’ service offerings often do not
meet customer requirements, particularly as advanced AV is deployed into
more areas of an organization and used to support multiple types of visual
communication,” said Matthew McKaig, Mechdyne’s Global Technical Services
Manager. “Brian’s strong background in service product management will
help us define new offerings and alternatives for custom service based on
our broad ranging technical capability.”
Mechdyne Service Plans are available to suit both stand-alone locations
and to support larger, decentralized organizations whose offices are often
connected via collaboration technologies. Another option Mechdyne can
offer is placing a full time technician on site for large facilities and
mission critical applications.
Located in seven offices on four continents, Mechdyne Technical Service
team members are positioned to provide what one leading oil company called
“global coverage with local response time.” Service Engineers have
experience in both state-of-the-art and legacy technologies used in
currently operated 3D visualization and advanced AV systems. Each
engineer participates in ongoing manufacturers’ training to ensure thorough
knowledge of a wide variety of equipment and new technology, quarterly
certification course requirements and quarterly weeklong training at
Mechdyne’s corporate office.
Bond will be based in Mechdyne’s Marshalltown, Iowa, headquarters. He
will travel regularly to other Mechdyne offices and customer locations to
evaluate and train Mechdyne’s Global Technical Services team. Further
information is available via direct call, 641-754-4649, or e-mail to
info@mechdyne.com.
