Glidewell Laboratories Chooses Delcam

"Glidewell Laboratories has made great strides in case-to-case consistency by using CADCAM technology to manufacture crowns and bridges for its dentist customers,” said Robin Bartolo, CDT Sales Manager at Glidewell. "With the new software from Delcam, we will be able to improve our existing processes to not only ensure our Zirconia copings are high in quality but also that they are milled at a faster rate.”

"Since using the Delcam dental software we have increased our Zirconia output by 60%,” added Steve Severy, Glidewell’s Project Manager, R&D. "We also have improved control over our nesting strategies and milling speeds. The automation in the software has saved us significant time and money, savings that can be passed on to our customers.”

Mr. Severy also stressed the value of the strong collaboration that has been built up between Glidewell and Delcam’s staff, both with the local Business Development Manager, Randy Wightman, and the software developers at Delcam’s Birmingham headquarters. "Delcam provides a very fast customisation service as part of the support we receive,” he explained. "Many enhancements that we have requested to make the software even more productive in our manufacturing have been implemented. Service like this is second to none!”
