PARIS, France, Aug 1, 2008 - Dassault Systems has completed the acquisition of Engineous Software, a market leader in process automation, integration and optimization. The acquisition is intended to extend and accelerate SIMULIA’s technology leadership in providing Simulation Lifecycle Management solutions.

Innovative Process Integration and Optimization Solutions

Engineous Software, now a part of SIMULIA, provides organizations with a product development system for process integration and design optimization. The comprehensive solution includes iSIGHT-FD for optimizing product designs and FIPER for capturing managing and reusing valuable engineering resources.

iSIGHT-FD works at the desktop level, integrating key steps in the product design process, then automates and executes those steps through design exploration tools like optimization, DOE, and DFSS techniques. The FIPER infrastructure links these processes together in a unified environment.
