Dassault India Names Andy Kalambi as President

As President of Dassault Systems India, Mr. Kalambi is responsible for driving business strategy through the sales, marketing and services organizations within Dassault Systems India to ensure comprehensive support to local customers. Meanwhile, in order to build up a robust ecosystem, Mr. Kalambi will be dedicated to growing partnerships with local academics and key systems integrators. He will also oversee the company’s R&D operations in India while leading the Sustainability Initiative in the region to help customers enhance sustainability and drive innovation.

“Through working closely with our customers in India over the past few years, we have built up a deep understanding of their needs in such diverse and competitive environment,” said Christian Nardin, who leads Dassault Systems in Asia. “In order to respond to the rapid growth of the market, we’ve decided to reinforce our local sales operation. I am delighted to have Andy on board to bring Dassault Systems India to the next level. With Andy’s abundant experience and domain expertise, we will continue to provide strong support to our customers in key industry sectors in India through world-leading products and services.”

Mr. Kalambi brings 25 years of broad business experience in general management, sales and industry business development, spending the first 11 years in India and the last 14 years in Singapore and Japan. A mechanical engineer by qualification from Delhi University, Mr. Kalambi joined Dassault Systems in 2006 and was promoted to General Manager of the ENOVIA business in Asia Pacific in 2007. In the last two years, Mr. Kalambi has also led the company’s Sustainability Initiative within Asia Pacific. Prior to Dassault Systems, Mr. Kalambi worked for leading local and multinational companies such as BHEL and SAP in India. During his time in India, he introduced ERP to the local market.
