C A Design StoreSpace Planogram Adds DWF Export

YARMOUTH, UK, May 7, 2009 - C A Design Services has updated its StoreSpace
Planogram application to incorporate Autodesk’s DWF technology. The online
planogram software now has a built-in function to optionally export a
planogram as a DWF file.
Grant Dott, C A Design Services Technical Manager takes up the story;
“Distributing planograms can be a difficult and time consuming process that
can also get a bit complicated with all of those files and images
accumulating in one place or another. The StoreSpace Planogram Viewer is
designed to work with the multipage output produced by the StoreSpace
Planogram Editor. Planograms can be viewed, reviewed and marked up for
redistribution or updating all online. The Planogram Viewer eliminates the
need to email static images and it can also keep track of the changes by
saving marked-up planograms within a project folder.”
The StoreSpace Planogram Editor is an on-line application designed to
create quick planogram configurations and associated analytics. Store
managers, commodity planners and merchandisers can now view the product
placements and shelving configurations all online. Grant continues; “DWF
technology can easily be adopted outside of the CAD world and offers
increased functionality and benefits over other formats such as PDF or CGM.”
