UNITED KINGDOM, Jan 21, 2009 – www.cadcamnews.co.uka new web portal for design, engineering and manufacturing, has been launched to provide dedicated news and services to companies based within the UK and Ireland.

Launched only last week, the online resource is currently offering free news and press releases to UK based companies. However focussing heavily on the differing software technologies used throughout the entire design, prototyping and manufacturing process, software developers from outside of the UK are also being invited to submit their product announcements.

"We are not the first to offer free news relating to design and manufacture, however have noticed a distinct lack of information dedicated to just the UK and Ireland." comments the editorial team at CadCamNews.

"Obviously we still want to inform our readers of the very latest in software technologies, and this is why software developers from outside of the UK are invited to submit their material. The services we have planned for the near future, such as event management, technical job postings and company case studies will however be focused on UK based companies."
