Autodesk Inventor software is the foundation of the Autodesk solution for Digital Prototyping, producing 3D models that validate the form, fit and function of a design with less reliance on costly and time-consuming physical prototypes. Fully integrated with Inventor, Autodesk Design Review is the free* all - digital way to share, review, mark up, and measure digital prototypes. New is the ability to find and locate design data in Inventor drawings, object properties, bill of materials and parts lists published to DWF files.

Autodesk is also shipping the latest versions of a variety of other software products, all leveraged by manufacturers to extend the capabilities of their Digital Prototyping workflows.

• AutoCAD Mechanical is AutoCAD software for manufacturing, purpose-built to accelerate the mechanical design process. The 2009 release features include support for the international GOST drafting standard and instant access to a Favorites List of standard parts.

• Productstream software securely stores and manages engineering design data and related documents, increasing design reuse and collaboration. Productstream 2009 features increased performance and improved integration with Inventor.
