"Having the capability to educate our students in the use of leading
computer-aided engineering tools, such as ALGOR finite element analysis
software, furthers our mission of advancing Brazilian industry," said Prof.
Sergio Roberto Arruda, Regional Director at the SENAI unit of Joinville-SC.
"We thank and commend ALGOR and RCTASK for their generous donation of
valuable software and services," said Prof. Jorge Luiz Pasqual, Director of
the "Mecatronica" SENAI unit of Caxias do Sul–RS.
"Due to Brazil's rapid economic growth, use of design, analysis and
simulation software is greatly increasing in the manufacturing sector," said
Antonio Pedro Lourenco, Operations Manager of RCTASK. "Allowing SENAI
students to learn about ALGOR software helps to better prepare them for
professional engineering careers, which will help to improve the local
industrial community."
"We are pleased to make this donation to SENAI and support their efforts
to promote education and the use of ALGOR software in the growing Brazilian
market," said John Li, Ph.D., ALGOR Director of International Business
Development. "We look forward to collaborating with our partner, RCTASK, on
supporting this educational program for many years to come."
ALGOR software's wide range of simulation capabilities includes: static
stress with linear and nonlinear material models; Mechanical Event
Simulation (MES) for nonlinear, multi-body dynamics with large-scale motion,
large deformation and large strain with body-to-body contact; linear
dynamics; fatigue; CFD including steady-state and transient heat transfer,
steady and unsteady fluid flow and mass transfer; electrostatics; full
multiphysics; and piping. All analysis capabilities are available within
FEMPRO, ALGOR's easy-to-use single user interface.
