BCJ - The Building Center
of Japan - established in 1965 under the auspices of the Ministry of
Construction in order to carry out various research projects in the building
construction field, evaluate newly developed technologies and provide this
information to the public; Since its establishment, the BCJ has taken an
active role in promoting and technically evaluating numerous technological
advances pertaining to construction methods and materials, with the
development of super-high-rise buildings and dome structures of membrane
construction as just a few examples. BCJ
