About the Ride
 The
TenLinks Bike Across America covers a total distance of 3,445 miles that will be
covered in 32 days. There is one rest day in the middle of the ride. The average
mileage is about 110 miles a day. The route will transect 13 states. It starts
in Irvine, California (near Los Angeles), goes over the Rocky Mountains, through
the southwest deserts, across the Great Plains, crosses the Mississippi River,
through the Midwest, over the Appalachian Mountains and finishes in Boston,
Massachusetts.
