TenLinks CEO to Ride Bike Across
America to Help Needy Students
Cross-country effort hopes to raise
$25,000 to create
college technology scholarship
NOVATO, California,
February 3, 2004 – TenLinks, Inc., the number one CAD, CAM and CAE online
media company, announced today its CEO will ride a bicycle across the United
States to raise funds and establish a college scholarship that will help
needy students attain a technology education.

Roopinder Tara, TenLinks CEO, will ride a distance of 3,400
miles from Irvine, California to Boston, Massachusetts. He will start April
25 and hopes to finish May 27, riding a total of 31 days and averaging 110
miles a day. The goal is to raise
$25,000. Companies and individuals
are encouraged to sponsor the ride. Scholarship(s) will be awarded in the
beginning of the 2004-2005 school year.
"It will be a long, hard ride," says Tara, "but knowing that I'll be
helping to give deserving people an opportunity to advance themselves--even when
the odds are stacked against them--that will
give me strength. It's an opportunity to change lives for the better."
Donations can be made in the form of a pledge. Donors can pledge an
