TenLinks Launches Coverage of CAD, CAM, CAE Products, Services

Joins forces with industry veteran Ralph Grabowski to provide in-depth looks at often overlooked products

NOVATO, CA, Jan 23, 2012 - TenLinks, Inc., the largest online CAD, CAM and CAE network, announces that it will now be producing original content,      commissioning articles and reviews, conducting interviews and writing up interesting case histories. Subjects will include CAD, CAM and CAE products and services, as well as industry trends, movers and shakers, trade show coverage and more. This is in addition to the aggregation of CAD, CAM and CAE content that TenLinks is known for providing.

"There is much that is useful and interesting for the design and engineering professional that our readers should know about," says Roopinder Tara, TenLinks president and CEO. "Though we find hundreds of articles every month, there are still many treasures that remain undiscovered."

"TenLinks is taking an interesting approach that I haven't seen before in my 25 years in the technical publishing industry," says Ralph Grabowski. "It's to gather a group of top-notch CAD experts virtually, and then get several of them to write about the same subject from different angles. I am enjoying my role as the new venture's new managing editor."

For over a decade, TenLinks has found and featured information on the CAD, CAM and CAE industry. Its website, CADdigest.com, lists 400-500 new articles per month. A great many of them are from users of market leading software applications, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Pro/E, and so on. However, many new products and services do not get coverage beyond an initial press release. Also, many smaller companies get little or no coverage due to lack of marketing savvy or budget considerations.

"We will try level the playing field with our editorial coverage," says Tara.

Articles will be published on TenLinks site and CADdigest.com, the world's leading CAD, CAM and CAE article site.

TenLinks' first coverage under this new initiative will feature a 5-part series about Kubotek's new Compare product, the first of which, an interview about Compare by Ralph Grabowski, appeared last week in CADdigest.com. An even more in-depth series is currently being planned on Solid Edge.
