Newsletter Problems
-
Why doesn't my newsletter have hyperlinks?
Some email programs may be converting HTML to text. Since
TenLinks Daily has the URLs embedded in the hyperlink, this may have the
effect of stripping off the URLs. If this is happening, your best option will
be to click on
www.tenlinks.com/news/tl_daily.htm
for your daily news. This URL will be at the top of our newsletter for your
convenience.
- Why can't I click on the hyperlinks in the newsletter?
If you have had someone forward our newsletter to you, the newsletter may
look like hyperlinks but they won't work. The best solution is subscribe
yourself so that you receive the newsletter directly from TenLinks (go to
www.tenlinks.com/NEWS/sub_unsub.htm). Another reason for failed
hyperlinks: your email
program may have URLs turned off.
- What programs are known to cause problems with TenLinks Daily?
So far, we know that users of cc:Mail and GroupServer have had problems.
- I see a note about a message from a sponsor but no ad appears. Why?
Some email services (example: MSN Hotmail) strips out advertising because they
don't want competition with their ads.
