SAN
FRANCISCO, CA, Sep 16, 2009 - Lattice Technology, developers of digital
manufacturing applications using the XVL format, today announced that it has
signed up r.a.p.s, a provider of software and services to manufacturers
across Sweden, as a reseller.
r.a.p.s. is an eleven year old company, founded in 1998 by Par Nobring,
who is now company chairman. The company focuses on providing software and
services via well-defined, deadline-driven implementations that deliver
precisely to manufacturers’ needs. Customers include Faiveley Transport
which manufactures brakes for trains, Cargotec for heavy trucks and Klippan
Safety which delivers seat safety devices.
“Demand for integrated productivity tools that leverage 3D across
manufacturing is rising in Sweden, and XVL and the Lattice Technology
products fit perfectly into those needs,” commented Nobring, Chairman,
r.a.p.s. “We are excited to be introducing XVL into our customer base this
year.”
“As Lattice Technology continues to grow, we are keen to involve talented
implementation teams like r.a.p.s.,” commented Bill Barnes, GM, Lattice
Technology. “As 3D becomes a key strategy for the entire manufacturing
process, XVL is becoming the tool of choice to deliver that. r.a.p.s.’
expertise and reputation in Sweden is a perfect match for us.”
