PARIS, France and VANCOUVER, Canada, January 31, 2007 – Bionatics, the leading developer of 3D plant modeling and simulation tools for the 3D industry, announces a special offer to all Bionatis’ clients who have purchased an EASYnat library before February 1st, 2007 to convert your EASYnat license as all EASYnat plants and credits, for the price of only a basic natFX license and annual maintenance subscription. This offer is valid from February 1st to March 30th, 2007.

"Since the release of EASYnat in 2003, many users have gotten used to working with 3D and design visualization technologies or renderings," explains Stephane Gourgout, Sales Director. "Many customers are expressing more and more the need to switch to a more sophisticated modeling tool like natFX which offers them more flexibility, fine tuning, and faster render times. This offer gives them the unique opportunity to convert their entire EASYnat library into natFX at a special price."

The price of this special offer is only 1200 € / $1280 US regardless of the number of EASYnat plants to convert. This price includes a natFX license with a year maintenance subscription. The conversion of an EASYnat plant library into natFX is normally charged 20€ per plant.

What is the difference between EASYnat and natFX ?

natFX 4 offers a number of advanced functions such as the new low polygon modeling mode called 'Volumic' or the 'Sculpt Trunk' function used to deform the base of the trunk to give the trees a more realistic look. The plants can be animated and there are several fine tuning options to help speed up rendering times. For more information, please the comparative document found on our site : www.easynat.com.
